Total surface area of Bod is 3356 Hectares of which:
485 Hectares is built up
2903 Hactares is outside the built up area
The proposed Brasov outer ring road linking Brasov with Codlea, the airport in Ghimbav and the Transylvania highway will provide direct access to the lands which slope East and West and are ideal for the residential development proposed by Cill Dara Investments.
A geotechnical study commissioned by the company confirms that there are no geological conditions which would render the site unsuitable for the proposed development.
Gas and water services are available on the main Brasov to Bod road, a short distance from the site. Sewage treatment facilities are available within the village of Bod. It is not anticipated that the disposal of surface water runoff will present any difficulty.
The Company engaged OBK Architects, 30/31 Francis St, Dublin 8, Ireland to develop an architectural Master Plan for the site, and also engaged S.C Inter Proiect S.R.L. , 400467 Str. C Brancoveanu, Nr 15 to complete the design and to apply for the PUZ, Pac and Building License approvals from the City Council
